Motorola Talkabout MH230R Excellent product, purchase this set of Walkie talkies for our daughter to take to Myrtle Beach on a two car spring break event. They had one in each car and was able to coordinate between cars. Being a parent of a girl’s first trip away from home, them having a way to communicate with each other to discuss directions and keeping them from getting lost or separated was a big relief. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a easy to use reliable product.
Fit the radios well, but wish they were a more visible color. We use 2-way radios a lot here on the ranch. These cases were part of the reason I ordered these specific Motorola radios. It’s easy to lose a radio if it’s not attached to you, and these cases solve that. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is that the black case doesn’t make the radios very visible. If you do set one down it’s hard to locate. I’d like the case much better if they were a bright color. Otherwise, they’re good.
Motorola Talkabout MH230R Case – Waterproof? Not Totally… Seems to be neoprene or neoprene-like material. My walkie-talkie fits nice and snug. Water can still seep in if you’re caught in a rain. And, I’ve been in the rain with my radios. If light water or rain splashes on the case/radio, it should be fine. I’m using this as a carrier in the outdoors and hope to get some protection in the event it rains. Got to work a bit to align the holes for the earbud jack but once you get that aligned, the push to talk button becomes a non-issue. All…
