It’s oversized design gives you 38 Inch of shoulder girth, allowing your to comfortably move. The Allegheny’s “S” quilt construction keeps the 5 pounds of non-allergenic Insul-therm insulation in place and prevents cold spots. 190T polyester shell and liner is both durable and comfortable to sleep in while the 2-way main zipper allows for venting. The Allegheny can be fully unzipped and used as a blanket or can be combined with another Allegheny to form a double-wide sleeping bag. Comes with elastic roll straps for storage and transport.

A splendid bag for the price. This is a very comfortable bag to sleep in and I have had no issues with zippers or the finish of the product at all. The sewing is sound and the zippers work fine. I’m not backpacking or using it in the wild so for now I use it on my cot. I bought it to use on a road trip and it will work perfectly. Just the right warmth in the 36 degree temperature weather even though it’s rated to 25 degrees. I liked it enough to order a second one. The interior lining isn’t flannel or a cotton like material…

Value.. The size is great. Well constructed, very “thick”, heavy, and well designed. The “black” is great and simple. I am impressed over-all..not just the sleeping bag but the price too. I did some “shopping”, this was a super value. I feel other products sell their “name” only and the product is not as great, very disappointing. This sleeping bag was a clear value.

Exceeded my expectations – great winter camping bag. Just tried this bag during a hard freeze while cold camping in East Texas. Highs in day were <40, lows at night got to 19 degrees F. Sleeping in thermal underwear and socks in this bag kept me toasty and warm for two nights straight, no problem. I didn’t want to get out of this bag. The lining is satin-ish, not cloth, which may be odd for warmer camping, but allowed freedom of movement while sleeping clothed. Even when it was 19 F out, I slept like a baby.
