The MTech USA Xtreme Fixed Blade Tactical Knife (model MX-8035) features a curved blade and black micarta handle, with a 7-inch overall length. Offering full tang construction, it comes extremely sharp so make sure you use caution when removing it from the sheath. This fixed blade neck/boot knife features a 3.75-inch, 5mm thick, 440 stainless steel, and curved hollow ground blade with a brushed finish. Grade 440 stainless steel contains more carbon, giving it excellent hardness and edge retention. The handle features black and gray micarta scales, which not only look great but also really offer a solid grip and hold up under repeated usage. It comes complete with a black molded Kydex neck/boot sheath, which features a boot clip and lanyard holes (neck cord included) and has a very tight friction fit. MTech USA Xtreme offers a variety of both tactical fixed blade and folding knives that are made with thicker and higher grade materials such as 440A and 440C stainless steel blades.

Great knife to have on hand. Good knife especially for the money. I’ve been a part of the knife community for a few years now and this knife doesn’t disappoint. The steel is slightly harder than I thought it’d be considering the price (which is a good thing). I carried this knife for 3 months doing a job of lawn maintenance and landscaping. This knife cut straight through drip-line (perforated watering hose) without much trouble, and chopping off smaller branches (2 inch diameter and smaller) are not a big deal especially…

Ugh… Not happy with this knife at all. I ordered it thinking it would be a great little neck knife to use on occasion. I received the knife today and it was beyond dull, I could rub the blade on my skin without fear that it would cut me. I am still trying to give it a better edge. Then I noticed that the handle was chipping where the top screw was. I did my best to sand it down a bit but it just looks and feels weird now. The knife is also pretty heavy for a neck knife. The kydex sheath is pretty…

ALMOST perfect experience I purchased this to fill the need for a economical all purpose type of blade that could easily be belt mounted or attached to Molle/Pals webbing as a backup/SD knife. I researched this item here and elsewhere and was attracted to it by its size (bigger than most neck knives, but smaller than most fixed blades), the 440C steel which is actually good knife steel, the kydex sheath, and of course the price.
