You get what you pay for and these are cheap. The colors are pretty but the silicone is cheap and the colors have bled/rubbed on each other even though I’m not sure how that is possible. I can already see along the edges that it will probably peel over time. You get what you pay for and I should have known these would not be as durable and others I have purchased.
Pretty, but not safe! These are attractive looking and very bright colors, but I do NOT feel that they are oven safe. I used two of them the other day to remove a roaster pan from my oven that was only at 275 degrees and almost burned my pans lifting them from the oven directly to the stove top. I did not even try to carry them anywhere and they got too hot to be comfortable. Love the colors Surprisingly, the first time I used these, I burned my hand pulling a roasting pan out of a 400-degree oven. I wasn’t prepared and nearly dropped the pan. I’ll be using them as trivets instead. Love the colors, but not great at preventing the heat from reaching your hands (and I’m a chef, so I have hearty hands).
