4th Time is the Charm I’m currently on my 4th Nalgene Tritan. For some reason, I have a terrible habit of leaving these behind. I usually buy the clear ones, but decided for a more obnoxious red bottle this time, so I wouldn’t lose it. But there is a reason that I keep buying this same bottle, it is awesome! My absolute go-to (for life!) This is my go-to water bottle, every time. Through college, I lost this one and immediately bought another one – it glows well at night for those random moments you wake up dehydrated (or if you’re out in the woods and can’t just turn on a light!) and carrying around a liter of water every time makes it easy to stay hydrated. The plastic piece that holds the cap on is sturdy, it washes well and has seen me through everything from bouldering to driving cross-country.
Great! I really like Nalgene bottles and have quite a few in the past 15 years. They really don’t impart any plastic flavors (it’s my main pet peeve with drinking out of plastic bottles). I also have a S’well bottle, but find myself reaching for this one more frequently because it holds a lot of water yet weighs almost nothing.
