Some small tweaks make it a worthwhile purchase I was a little skeptical to purchase this light box because of the reviews, but decided to go for it since it seemed that if I went any more upscale I would be paying a lot of money.I actually love it. I use it to photograph jewelry for my Etsy shop, and don’t really have any high-end photography equipment. I needed something to diffuse light and brighten my pictures, and I didn’t want to have to wait for those two hours during the day when the sunlight shines in my window just so…
Great for small product photography Works great. I have only used it with the white and the results are awesome. The only minor issue i have, is that it takes quite a bit of fiddling to get the back crease-free and truly seamless. Also, because of the size of the objects I was shooting (sunglasses) and the size of the opening, I had to shoot with a 100mm macro lens to get the best results. I couldn’t shoot too close to the box.It was definitely worth it for me. Makes shooting products so much easier
Plan on making your own color backdrops This is one of those purchases where half of what you get is five stars and the other half is one star. I’ll start with the five star portion of this purchase, that being the light box itself. In a nutshell, it is terrific. It has excellent light diffusion properties and gives really nice gradients when using color gels.
