Slim, lightweight, and cold. These are exactly what I need. I use a PlanetBox Rover and matching lunchbag to take my meals to work. These Cool Pacs slide right into the attached inner mesh sleeve with room to spare. Since the Rover is stainless steel and retina cold, one pack is usually sufficient for many hours. In summer, if I have packed something like egg salad or guacamole, I might use a second pack underneath the Rover and one in the sleeve. I travel on public transportation in NYC, and even though the subway…

The longer size is great vs the squares The longer size is great vs the squares. I put two in sideways and put all the lunch items between the cool packs. I only know that after 5 hrs everything is still really cold when I eat my lunch. Well made and sturdy.

Coolness in Numbers I guess I should have realized something so thin wouldn’t last long. I need to put 3 of them in my lunch bag to keep everything cold for 5-7 hours. It’s okay though, they are conveniently small, don’t weigh a lot and freeze up quickly overnight. I might end up buying another pack to use in the bigger picnic cooler I bought last week.
