Nice started set. Great gift! This is a very nice looking cooking utensil set. It has all the basic cooking utensils you need to set up house.The handles are wood and the food touching part silicone. They are neutral enough to go in any kitchen. They feel sturdy in the hand.There is a container in which to store them or S hooks to hang them from.The only drawback for me is they are not dishwasher safe and should be hand washed. Otherwise, the wood may split.They do come with 2 scrubbers to clean them…
Great set to set up your kitchen This seems to have everything. Some of the stuff as a single guy I am not even sure what it does. What I like best is the Silicone blades. I have good pans that you can not use most kitchen utensils that i can now use. The wood handles give them a nice appearance that will make any kitchen look good. The only downside is no dishwasher. But how hard is it to hand wash a few things? This would make a nice gift for a couple starting out, or if you are getting ready for your first apartment…

I was first impressed by the weight, it does not feel like a flimy department store utensil which can sell for 5 to 7 a piece.The wood handles are heavier than pine, and seem to be sealed so they can take repeated washings.I would *not* recommend dishwashing this. Do it by hand like our grandparents. They included 2 nifty silicone scrubbers so you can quickly scrub them clean…
