This beige hand-woven hammock recalls the soft sands of the Caribbean. Mexico’s Maya Artists of the Yucatan preserve the weaving techniques inherited from their Maya ancestors to ensure the hammock tradition. Long before the Spanish arrived upon the coasts of the Yucatan Peninsula, the Maya preferred to sleep and rest in hammocks. They considered the hammock to be like the loving embrace of a mother, due to the comfortable manner in which the body is held and swung within its cradle. Maya Artists of the Yucatan seek to preserve time-honored customs while also offering stylized versions of the original Maya hammock. For them, the hammock is a work of art. Their hammocks are incredibly comfortable, easy to maintain, and may be stored just about anywhere. Please note: For best results, store indoors when not in use. Colors may bleed when wet. NOTE: Because each is woven individually by hand, measurements may vary by as much as ten centimeters. There may be slight color variations from hammock to hammock.

Relaxing and comfortable space. Great product. It brings a deserted island look to your space. Great way to escape the heat.
Comfortable Hammock Quality Construction Durable Materials I love to have a hammock on my balcony. This is my third one. I love the look and feel of this hammock. It’s comfortable to lie in. It looks to be constructed well out of durable materials. My last hammock looked and felt good, but only lasted a year before it started falling apart. It was made of very thin threads. Admittedly, I can be rough on a hammock. This one doesn’t feel like it needs to be babied, but is as comfortable as the last one. I’m expecting a few years of hammock relaxation out…
