Good quality for the money I haven’t tried it out yet, so I’m starting with 4 stars. I will update after I’ve used it a few times. I have been tarp camping for about 6 years now with plastic tarps and I’m hooked, but I’ve been wanting something lighter that packs up smaller. I have been just as comfortable in tarp tents, probably drier (due to them being plastic), easier setup and tear down, and way less money. I don’t think you are going to do any better for tarp shelter poles I don’t think you are going to do any better for tarp shelter poles. You get TWO in one package. They are collapsed with elastic paracord holding them together. The top section adjusts with a twist bolt. This is probably as small a package as you are going to get for camping, where you end up with full size poles. I’d love them to break down smaller, but that’s nit-picking. Great quality at a stellar price.
Great for keeping additional camp site area dry I’ve been looking for a good tarp to add to my camping supplies as a way to expand the coverage in front of my tent to have dry ground in the morning (and rain protection). I ordered two of these and they worked out great to give added useable space. They came with enough cord to be able to tie off in a variety of ways.
