A must for the outdoors I have just received it, so no chance to use the knife yet. It is an addition to my survival bag. I did a lot of research on a lot of different knives to find a balance of quality and cost. From the look and specs of the knife it is a winner. Under $100, warranty, micarta scales, kydex sheath, D2 tool steel. All this making for a weather resistant and affordable blade. I couldn’t be happier.

That being said, it’s balanced at the point where your pointer finger is so you shouldn’t have a problem. Love or hate D2, this is a good knife regardless.
