How to read a compass Works great have addded to bug out bag.
This is the reference compass. Probably the best compass I own. I always liked to use models from Recta and especially the “Global Positionning” models that would not require you to have two compasses, one from north-hemisphere use, and one for south. But those compasses use oil to stabilitze the needle and after years of use, going from hot sun to cold, bubbles start to develop, grow and soon they interfere with the needle.After having used about 10 or so compasses that went the way of the dodo because…
Very rugged military compass! Rugged construction and easy to read! This compass is the real deal ,you can spend a little more and get the tritium but I didn’t see the need!
