This will work on string hammocks that are anywhere between 9 1/2-11 1/2 FT NON-SPREADER-BAR-HAMMOCKS . It is not recommended for very large hammocks, otherwise the hammock will sag and hit the floor with an adult weight on it. The stand has hooks on both sides that you can move around on each side, according to the length of your hammock.Both “Y” poles will allow you to stretch your hammock to a desired length by moving the hooks where you need it for best fit. For example,the 10 ft hammock will be stretched to 12ft with heavy weight on the hammock or long-term use. If the hammock has been stretched over 11 1/2 ft, then it may no longer fit the hammock stand.

Great Hammock Stand The stand was delivered early and packaged very well. This is a beefy unit. The carry bag will make this much easier to handle. We are using this with our RV. This is not something you want to carry on a hiking adventure. One note to buyers. The holes that were tapped for the knobs to screw into to secure all the pieces were done at very close tolerances. Fits most people and hammocks Great Stand even for someone weighting 280lbs. Fits my 11ft hammock just fine as my 9ft hammock.
Different mounting screws?? No longer an issue!! * This review will get updated once I get a message back from the supplier*I ordered two of these hammocks. I did not notice the picture that stated the hardware for attaching poles would be sent at random. One hammock came with the knob style screws for mounting poles without the need for tools while the other came with allen head bolts that need to be secured using a tool. This makes no sense.
