Simpler is often better, and simply put this is one of the most versatile packs ever created. If you prefer going light and moving fast in the woods, mountains and around town, the Tempest 20 is the pack for you. 20L of capacity is perfect for day hikes, urban commutes or a trip to the market. Ventilated and comfortable, the women’s specific BioStretch harness and continuous wrap hipbelt combine to create an incredibly stable carry system that hugs your body so you can stay balanced on the trail, ridge or peak. We scratched our heads and updated our AirScape backpanel to use less material and glue while making it more breathable to keep you cool on hot days. When uphills turn technical, our Stow-on-the-Go trekking pole carry system keeps your hands free for upward movement. LidLock helmet carry achieves the same when you stop for a mid-commute coffee. Zippered hipbelts, side stretch mesh pockets, a harness pocket and top-lid storage provide all the organization you need.

Product Features

  • External hydration sleeve
  • Stow-On-The-Go trekking pole attachment
  • LidLock helmet attachment
  • Dual-zippered panel access to main compartment

Love! I hike often and tend to get backaches. I purchased this backpack (after getting fitted at REI) and absolutely love it! It is so comfortable that I found I can now carry additional water without any issues. Plenty of pockets. I only wished the sides pockets were big enough to fit a mobile but that doesn’t effect my rating. Highly recommend! I’m 5’5, 125 lbs and I purchased the XS/Small.

Very handy, lightweight, comfortable pack This is an exceptional lightweight backpack. For all but the very lightest loads, I prefer a pack with a waistbelt as I would rather carry the weight on my hips than on my shoulders. This pack lets me do that. The shoulder straps are adjustable in a way that lets me drop this pack so it carries low on my back, which is comfortable and avoids catching on low-hanging branches. The backpanel is also well designed for great airflow, which helps keep me cool. There are a multitude of…

Not made for anyone who’s not skinny. I have several osprey packs, and my old daypack finally died. I understand that Osprey fixes and replaces old packs but I couldn’t in good conscience return it after years of use and abuse so I did some research and ordered this little bag. There’s sadly nowhere around me to see packs in person, so I took a chance and ordered this one.I am not a large person (size 10) …. The chest strap barely snaps, and while I don’t use it on a regular basis, this hip/waist band doesn’t even…
