Glad we purchased this! Tent foot-prints are pretty pricey. That being said, if you want something to fit exactly to your tent you might need to invest in your tent specific footprint. However, I’m okay with improvising a bit with something that doesn’t fit perfectly. We use this with an REI quarter dome 2 tent, it has just enough length & width for the tent to fit on and then place a rock in each corner to keep it secure to the ground. No problemo.

Worth the weight savings! I got the medium tarp with the intention of using it as a replacement for my normal backpacking tent. Great for the price I tested this tarp out to make a shelter on a recent backpacking trip. We had scattered storms throughout the night so I was a bit concerned using a new tarp but it held up just fine. Totally waterproof, even in a part where my pack was leaning against the tarp for the night. It’s a great tarp for the price. There are more compact and lighter tarps out there, but they’re at least twice the price.
