not impressed More of a safety hazard rather than a useful item. Any non-fixed bladed tool should have a solid locking mechanism, this does not. I do not like to leave negative reviews but if it saves one person from injuring themselves it’s worth it.

Neat design Poor QC. Ordered one and waited a month to get mine in. The stock utility blade that came with the knife was clearly a cheapo no name. I went to replace it with an Irwin branded blade and found that it didn’t want to seat correctly and wouldn’t lock or retract. Turns out that the higher quality blades by Stanley/Irwin/ insert name here… are a hair thicker than what comes with the knife making the hole thing bind. Good Idea, Poor Execution I am pretty disappointed with this little device. It worked great for precisely 1 day before the button safety stopped working. I found this out by clipping it back into my pocket and the slider actuated and I got pricked with a razor blade. So now, one day after purchase the cute little button no longer locks the blade out, and no longer locks the blade down. Thus, it is effectively useless.
