Perfect Perfect for my upcoming backpacking trip. Light weight and very packable.

Good as long as you don’t sleep on your side or need lower back support I’ve used this on a backpacking trip and a camping trip. This is great for stomach sleeping but if you sleep on your side, your hips will hurt. Personally, I need more lower back support when I sleep on my back so this just didn’t work out so great for me. But I’m going to keep it and cut it up a little bit into a shorter sleeping pad (I’m only 5’2″ so it’s way longer than I need it to be) and take the leftover bit and use it as a seat when I’m backpacking or day hiking.

Similar to Z-Rest I purchased this product for use backpacking in Yosemite. It’s definitely not the most comfortable mat on the market, but for the price, I do think it’s worth it. It compares very closely to ThermaRest’s Z-Rest. I mostly found it helpful in smoothing out uneven terrain. One thing to note is: this is a very long mat! I’m 6′ and I still had to keep a portion of the mat folded up near the top or bottom at night to fit in my tent (I even managed to turn it into a sort of pillow). Recommended!
