Ok for kids, but not really for adults Bought this for a recent camping trip. It didn’t really self inflate as I thought it would. Not a huge deal cause I gave it about 10 puffs and it was good to go. But, it didn’t inflate as much as I hoped it would. Maybe a half inch at max. It worked fine as a sleeping pad for my kids but I wouldn’t recommend this for adults as it doesn’t really give that much extra padding.

If you’re tall, don’t order Not terrible but not great. I wish the mattress would inflate just a little more. If you’re on any sort of unlevel ground you feel EVERYTHING. I’m about 5’5.. if I were any taller I would not be able to fit comfortably, I wish it were also a bit longer.

Whistlers Mom says:

Good value in a sturdy, comfortable sleeping pad This is an “open cell foam” design sleeping pad. That means it has thin foam inside interior sections which you fill with air for a thicker, more cushioned effect. Get a group of campers and backpackers together and (sooner or later) a fierce fight will erupt about the relative merits of open cell foam pads VS solid foam VS old-style inflatables. Eventually the “discussion” will probably come to blows because campers and backpackers are opinionated and each one is convinced…
