A most horrible experience! Absolutely horrible! it’s extremely low to the ground making it very difficult to get on and off, but the worst part is that the “legs” don’t have a locking mechanism so they easily FOLD and DROP with the slightest movement. I only used this device ONE night and every time I moved either the head piece or the leg piece would fold and drop – scaring the you what out of me!!! The absolute worst was when I tried to stand up and the CENTER piece folded on my finger and almost cut it…
No longer sleeping on the ground. Ordered these in time for our fall camping trip. Primary goal was to keep from sleeping on the ground in our tent. Had read some of the concerns about “loud” fabric, but figured I’d take the chance.
The legs don’t really lock well, so it will … The legs don’t really lock well, so it will collapse on you if you move your cot. You must be careful with this one. I bought it for my daughter and she ended up disliking it because if she scooted it, which happens when you are getting up and down (it is very near the ground), then it will collapse and she has had her hands and feet both pinched and smashed when it collapses. I wouldn’t get this for a child, and an adult probably wants something easier to get up and down off of if they are…
