Definitely needed! I wasnât able to grab any pictures, due to me not taking my phone to the beach. But this blanket/towel was soooooo useful! We were able to all fit on it, it was comfortable, and easy to throw out any sand that came it. We were able to eat on it with out worrying about sand being stuck in the fibers, and we were able to nail it down some, so it stayed in place even when we werenât on it! And we got lots of compliments on how cool it looked!
lightweight and packable blanket This is a basic but well-constructed beach or picnic blanket that could also double as a table cloth. It is made of parachute-like material, which makes it very light and it packs up into the included small pouch pictured above, which has a carabiner attached so you can hook it on to a backpack. It comes with 4 stakes to prevent it from blowing away, since it is quite light. The material feels sturdy and it should last for a while, but time will tell.
I wouldn’t call it sand free To say this is sand free is a bit of a stretch. Sand gets all over it, whether from your body or when the wind blows, or just someone walking by. It does brush off easily if it is pulled straight & tight. Almost impossible though to get the sand out of the corner pockets. It is very water resistant. Dries quickly. The stakes are a great addition. Push into sand easily & remove easily & kept it secured. We had 3 average adults comfortably lying on it. Could have squeezed in a 4th no problem. I…
