love these poles! I bought a pair of the flip lock poles to replace our older twist lock poles (not pacemakers) which had collapsed on my husband. We each use one pole but I may buy another pair so I can have 2 for really steep terrain. We could not be happier with the poles! High Quality, Low Price I hike about 2000 miles a year on steep, rocky, mountain trails and I have 4 sets of Pacemaker Hiking Poles…two sets of the lower end “twist to lock” version and two sets of this higher end “Expedition Poles”.
