PackIt’s Freezable Mini Lunch Bag is the original bag with built-in cooling that keeps anything you pack cooler, longer. Small but mighty, this mini cooler is smaller than PackIt’s Freezable Lunch Bag and sized just right for kids’ meals and adult snacks. The Mini Lunch Bag has patented cooling power that chills drinks for hours. The secret is freezable gel built into the walls of the bag. You’ll never waste money on separate freezable ice or gel packs again. PackIt mini lunch bags chill food all day, letting you pack healthy foods that would spoil in other bags such as yogurt, deli meat, milk, fruit and veggies. To use, collapse the Mini Lunch Bag flat and store it in the freezer overnight (12 hours). In the morning, the walls of the lunch box will be completely frozen and ready to chill food and drinks for hours. The Mini Lunch bag features a top zip closure that locks in cool, dry air and a buckle handle easily clips onto totes, backpacks or strollers. This soft lunch bag is made from nontoxic poly canvas and has a food-safe, water-resistant lining. Like all PackIt products, the Mini Lunch Bag is made from PVC-, BPA-, phthalate-, formaldehyde- and lead-free materials. The Mini Lunch Bag measures 8.25 inches tall, 8 inches wide and 3.75 inches deep while open and fits easily into backpacks, gym bags and diaper bags. When folded, it measures 8.25 inches deep, 8 inches wide and 1 inch tall for easy storage in the freezer. Simple care: wipe thoroughly or hand wash the interior and spot clean exterior; allow bag to dry completely before freezing. Not machine or dishwasher safe.

Velcro always fails after a 2-3 months. And company changed warranty from 1 year to 90 days. Hmm, wonder why… Nice idea, but poor-quality execution. We’ve had four PackIt bags over the years, and the Velcro that holds the flap closed consistently fails after 2-3 months of daily use. The company used to have a 1-year warranty, but I just found out today that in November they have changed it to 90 days. Hmm, wonder why that could be…Also, their customer service is a mess. In December, I had written to ask if they had plans to make bags with different closures (i.e., not Velcro) for the…
