Stands up to Wind I used this cord to tie up a shade sail in my back yard. We had a pretty good dirt storm (plenty of wind), and everything held up fine. There was no indication that the cord might fail. It was attached to each of the three points of a triangular sail. For some reason, my BF wound like four lengths of it through one of the points, but the other two points were only a double length, tied with a knot that was not done by a boyscout. No problems with it.
… need heavy paracord for skydiving and this stuff is great.. I don’t need heavy paracord for skydiving and this stuff is great… if I have any negative comments it would be the fact the ends take time to melt to stop them from fraying. I will say this for any future purchases for me or anyone else…… BUY THE LARGEST SPOOL YOU THINK YOU WILL NEED AS THE COST DROPS SIGNIFICANTLY WHEN YOU BUY MORE… IN OTHER WORDS, IF I BUY 100 FEET IN 10 COLORED BUNDLES OF 10 FEET EACH IT MIGHT COST ME 18 DOLLARS… IF I BUY 250 FEET OF ONE COLOR IT WILL COST ME…
the red is really RED nice cord feels better than expected. the package does say “paracord planet” instead of “West Coast Paracord”.and a spool for the 100 ft i got would have been better. other than that i don’t have anything bad to say.works perfect with the “” i got along with the cord.i still can’t get over the nice (red) color the…
