For key rings, they work great. OK, what I use these for is to keep a small key ring containing just my car keys attached to my main key ring. They are perfect for that purpose. The clip is easy to work, and it is secure once clipped to the main ring. They aren’t too big, or two small for that purpose, they are the perfect size for it.
Put it to you like this: Take your thumb and measure 1/2 way … Have to be honest with you, I thought they would be about an inch and a half larger.
Try it, you won’t be sorry. Fantastic quality. Paracord fits through the hole no problem (single strand). I was worried about durability because I won’t sell junk to my customers, so I put one clip on a piece of paracord and clipped it to another and pulled in two directions and it didn’t even bend it at all, I’m a big guy.
