Get a 4mm wrench These headlights installed easily and looked great. The one issue you might run into is the adjuster screw rods at the top. They are longer than the original equipment and get really close to the metal frame. This made it impossible on my 2003 to adjust the headlight beam with the closed end wrench made for adjusting this style Ford headlight. I ended up taking them off after installing and back out the top adjuster and then had to order a set of small wrenches to get the 4 mm needed to…
They will let water in. Seal the joint between the Clear lens and the rear black plastic with silicone before you install. I returned the first set because within a week with no really heavy rain both lights had water inside them.Second set went in today. With a lot of Silicone. Ran a hose on them for a while and so far the are dry inside.
Cheap inferior materials, don’t purchase. As good as these headlights looked I was really hoping they would work but sadly did not.The back black plastic housing is made of the softest/inexpensive plastic I’ve ever seen. When locking the bulb sockets into place the housing plastic strips out.The bulb sockets they supplied were the blinker and side maker. Those sockets did not match/mate with my factory wiring harness. You could not make a connection.When I tried to use my old bulbs, the housing…
