Took some frozen salmon and halibut I caught in Alaska … Took some frozen salmon and halibut I caught in Alaska on a 3 day trip to Arizona. Used ice bag from store and the ice bag barely melted, fish was still frozen! Outstanding cooler!Al
Best latches in the industry. I love this cooler. I started out borrowing the pelican 65 which isn’t made anymore and took it on a trip. I loved it so much I came home and bought the pelican 70 which is slightly bigger and lighter. It works best when prechill before a trip and block ice is the best. Looking to add some pelican ice or something similar in the future. The best thing about pelican over the others are the snap latches. Simply the best non cheap cooler out there Simply the best non cheap cooler out there. Where do I start, the construction is great all around, the latches are real latch and flow like hot butter, not those stupid rubber things on yetis and rtic. The handles are real handles, thick and stout unlike with a yeti where you get a rope and garden hose. Now I don’t hate yeti, I have two of their 64oz, one 32oz and an 18oz rambler thermos and there fantastic. Also yeti lies, well misleads you. For example their yeti 65 isn’t 65qt interior…
