The Pelican sc12 soft cooler is a beast My new Pelican SC12 soft cooler is bad to the bone. It is black, which probably isnt the best for direct sunlight, but it looks really cool and in my line of work my lunchbox is going to get dirty so that is nice. It is just as well built as my wife’s yeti flip 12, although a little smaller. I haven’t packed a 12 pack in with ice yet but I took it to work today for lunch and it did just as well as I expected. Amazing and made in USA Held Ice in truck windows up for 50 hrs and drinks were still cold. Love it.
Excellent Cooler! In picking a cooler I was between the Yeti 30 and this. However, my father in law had a Yeti which I got to use on a trip or two and I really didn’t like the cooler opening along the top of the cooler. It made it really difficult to load your beverages or food in the cooler. It was also way too heavy. With that, I purchased this cooler a couple of months ago and it’s been great so far.
