OK I got these because my husband cannot hold things that are heavy or slick. While not heavy at all or slick, they scoot around the table way too easily making them a real spill hazard. They are OK as plates but I would not order them again for my purposes.
Better than paper plates but … The colors are fun and the size is good but these plates are pretty thin – not as thin as paper plates but about as thick as 2 thick paper plates. I was hoping these were a bit more sturdy. If you put heavy items on the plate, be sure and support it from the bottom. I bought some smaller plates with raised edges and those are thick and solid. These not so much but if you’re looking for an alternative to paper plates, these will work. I’ve used them in the microwave and put in the dishwasher…
Surpringly nice. I needed some decent plastic plates to get away from my earthenware.
