Every household should have one Quiet machine with a timer! Easy to use and convenient to use at home. Disadvantage is that one has to carry the machine somewhere to empty the water. It can be unruly when having to maneuver the attached blue hose. The hose is also difficult when you want to put the machine aside for awhile. There is no place to store it.
Became very difficult to disconnect the cooling pad. I liked the overall function….it delivers cold to my knee replacement.I don’t like how difficult it became to attach and detach the cooling pad from the hose. I had to use so much force that I eventually just left it connected. That makes it not as easy to move around the unit to refill the ice, etc.The bottles of frozen water to augment the ice was a very useful tip.
