Gave them a chance & couldn’t be happier Just recently got turned onto Prana’s clothing line and have not been let down. These hiking pants are better than my columbia and north face pants. More comfortable, definitely feel more durable. Gusseted crotch and support in the right places coupled with just the right amount of stretch make these great for squatting, bending, and climbing. Best pants ever! Ok, so I am ashamed that I spent so much on theses pants. As a larger guy (6′, 250#) it is tough to find comfortable pants that are light, flexible and give the right amount of breathability.With that said, these have exceeded my every expectation. I primarily bought them for hiking/backpacking, but have found myself wearing them for every occasion. Fantastic pants; perfect for hiking. Durable but moderately light-weight. I’m a 6’0, 170lb male with a 31″ waist and 32″ inseam and these fit perfectly out of the bag. There is even a small adjustable belt to the right side of the button if you want to tighten them up a bit. The fabric is a soft, stretchy spandex/wool blend that wicks sweat fairly well.
