Super cool set My husband took our kids camping recently and used 3 sets of the bamboo mess kit. They were sturdy, kept food warm, didn’t feel hot with the hot food on it, and washed very easily. Other campers remarked how solid they looked, no one believed they were made from bamboo. Just wish they came in more colors so there’d be no confusion over who’s set belonged to whom.
starts to break down I have to revise my review. It seemed like a great kit, but 5 months after buying, the Cup is cracked along the seam line – seems to be defective molding.
Coffee needs to be cold to use these included cups with handle. First use. Camping. Poured hot coffee into orange bamboo cups and before my eyes watched as the handle area began seeping then began to melt. Got one cup poured out while seeping the coffee out its cracks. The second cup sat just a few seconds more and actually melted inward around handle while seeping the coffee out its cracks.
