Nice cooler So far, so good. If your 5-gallon bottle has no lid when you put it on, you have to be really quick to avoid spilling some. Otherwise, it is quiet enough and cold enough. We don’t use the hot tank. I like how the drip tray grate is flat, so you can set a glass on it and push the button to fill the glass. The spout extends down enough that larger containers, such as a gallon jug, can be filled, although they won’t set on the grate.
Tastes like plastic for first few gallons, then works fine. So far it tastes like plastic, hoping that clears up soon. Now Iâm just wasting water cycling water through…**EDIT**It took about three gallons of water to finally rinse away the plastic taste. Now it runs fine and thereâs no problem with the unit.
