Overall good but fragile The battery door hinge is fragile. Overall, it rides well on my head, tolerates a variety of hats, is bright, is easy to operate with gloves, and is reasonably priced. The beam is not focused which is a liability if you want light thrown well front of you, as on a bicycle, but which is an asset at a walking pace.
