2 major quality defects Arrived with 2 major quality defects. The first is the floating compass dial has a severe dip to North as if it was not balanced. This causes the dial to stick and not read correctly or consistently.The second defect is the bubble level doesn’t appear to have been installed correctly , as if too much glue was used and it didn’t get seated properly. Great for my Military Land Navigation Test. I just used this for the BLC Land Navigation course in Ohio. The Military Compass on Amazon is around $72 and I purchased this in hopes that I could lose it without creating a hubbub with supply at BLC. It was really nice for land navigation using an asthmus.
