Pleasantly surprised for a good tarp At first, my weather was not supposed to have any rain so I placed the rain fly over some paper towels and poured water on it for approx 20 min. Perfectly dry paper towels! I was impressed. Then the weather changed and I was able to hang it outside for awhile in the rain. Again, dry surface underneath. This comes with 6 guylines and 4 stakes and carry bags. Each corner has a reinforced stitching. They each held strong under some variable winds. The stakes are kind of puny and might bend if…
Good reasonably priced fly I am an active hammock camper and I have purchased quite a few hammocks in the past. I have even made my own. I just can’t resist trying out different hammocks and associated hammock accessories.
Good deal on a great hammock hex tarp. Very nice rip-stop nylon hex tarp. The material is a 210D nylon material with a fine 1/4″ rip-stop grid. Stitching is well done and the edges are finished with bias tape. There is a double sewn and tape sealed ridge line seam. The tarp ridge line provides 140″ of coverage, and is plenty big for all hammocks. I use an 11′ hammock and have plenty of over hang to keep the rain out. (142″ advertised length includes tabs).
