Works when it works! When these filters work they work great. 3 out of the 4 worked. One I had to keep removing because it wasn’t filtering the water. I had to remove it and shake it ever time I needed to fill the water reservoir. I threw it away after a week. Now, when it works, it works GREAT. I live in Philadelphia and the water has a very strong odor of chlorine and a slight metallic taste to the water. Delicious Water – Better than the Standard PUR Pitcher Filters We had used the standard PUR pitcher filters for about 25 years and jumped at the opportunity to try these new PUR Ultimate Lead Reduction Pitcher filters. POOR QUALITY CONTROL I’ve been using PUR water pitchers and filters for close to ten years. I have three different pitchers (two small, one large), and each gets used on a daily basis. Obviously, I’ve used many filters over that ten year period, and during that time occasionally I’d get a filter that would not properly filter water after a few fillings.
