The PUR Classic 11-Cup Pitcher makes it easy to get clean, delicious water right from your fridge. Its built-in LED filter-life indicator lets you know when to change the MAXION filter, ensuring your pitcher is always providing the cleanest water possible. Changing your water filter regularly is crucial when it comes to removing contaminants, because a clean filter means clean water. It is recommended that pitcher filters be replaced every 40 gallons (or every two months) to maintain maximum contaminant removal.

great tasting water, but still have mineral deposits Guess I’m one of the lucky ones, my led light still works after months of use, and the pitcher hasn’t cracked with repeated washings (hand, not dishwasher). I bought it to make better tasting coffee, we are a household of “coffaholics’ consuming several pots a day. I’m very pleased with the taste of the water and the coffee I make with it. However, it does not reduce mineral deposits in the coffeemaker, or at least not by much. I still have the hard white deposits that have to be…

EXCELLENT Water Pitcher Even Though I Knew the LED Wasn’t Going to Work I just needed a large water pitcher since I hate having to constantly fill up the smaller ones since you have to wait what seems like hours for the water to flow through filters. Of course the LED didn’t work on mine either when it arrived, but I don’t really care since the pitcher is otherwise designed very well.

Sometimes you get what you pay for I have tried a couple of the cheaper filter pitchers and was not satisfied with the products. The cheaper pitchers were as expected, cheaper made, and I did not notice a difference in the taste of the water when filtered.
