Clog early UPDATE (11 Dec):On a lark, I emptied my dispenser and shook out the filter (which per below was installed 29 Nov), submerged it in water for 20 minutes or so, and then shook the filter so that the force is toward the lower exit end. My theory is that the filter components are becoming loose and possibly even floating up, which may allow air into the filter, which may then reduce flow. Currently Overpriced Here, but Good Filters Be careful this is only 3 basic filters currently sold for $28.90 which is almost double what Target sells them for. I bought them quickly, and based on price I thought it was 6.PUR makes different types of filters, and there is another type with lead reduction that is more expensive for 3. Two out of three filters stopped working in less than a weeks time I purchased a three pack of replacement filters on September 8, and started using the first one about September 23, it lasted about a month. The second filter lasted about a week. I tried soaking it again and flushing it again, no help, it just simply stopped filtering.
