They are the real Deal…. I came across this item during a walk through our local County Fair. I was skeptical but watched intently thinking what is this junk? The person started while in water, burned quite long and hot. So I took the bait and purchased. Now I am in need of more. Awesome Product!!! Worked perfect for Boundary Waters. Wood was wet and wouldn’t lite. Used one of these and we had fire. I used 4 total and was exceptionally satisfied with them. I will buy a lot more of these. My buddies will also.. You want a great product. Buy these!!
Convenient I have used these a couple of times to get a camp-fire started. They work, still need dry kindling, which can be difficult to scrounge at times. Anyway, these will overcome some dampness but really just a convenient method for starting ‘first-heat’ to get things going…The small packets do not take up any space and I always carry some in my emergency gear pack when I am camping/hiking…
