A fun little DMR radio! I love playing with DMR radios. This little thing is fun! It connected to my PC instantly and was very easy to program. The CPS program resembles the software from other Radioddity radios and has the same features as many higher end radios. It has a nice wide display which shows more characters than my other radios. Much better than expected! I have to admit, initially I was skeptical about this radio based on my experience with other Baofeng radios…I must say I’m VERY impressed!One of the places I tried this is where I used to live – very close to a hospital and NOAA transmitter site where most cheap analog radios with poor front-end would bleed over NOAA, pagers, Fire/EMS, and other things on repeater frequencies. Well designed, affordable DMR Dual Band radio The radio was very easy to set up using the software i found on the Radioddity website. I did have to manually copy the entire code plug because this is a new radio and there were none available. I used a code plug from the Radioddity GD-77 and had to open that in the software for that radio.
