Good within limitations Like any multi tool this has a large number of functions. And like any multi tool while it does them well enough to get by in a pinch it’s not great at any one thing. If you’re a shooter in the field or at the range it’s worth the weight and money to have this with you. However, it is no substitute for real tools in a tool box for serious work. It’s better than a Swiss Army knife though and worth getting.

Great concept. Ok tool. Loose tolerances. Poor bit quality. I love the concept of having a single multi-tool with everything a shooter needs. However, the build quality on this is not that great.Tolerances are quite loose. The tool feels wobbly in the hand, almost rattles.I also had a small screw-driver-bit snap at the tip without much effort.

Cheap construction – pliers snapped on second use My eight or ninth Real Avid product, quality seems to be declining. Plier arm snapped on second use, under only moderate hand pressure. Nature of the fracture suggests tool is made from an inexpensive, brittle alloy so safe to assume all units have the same problem. I’d have been happy to pay more for a tool I can actually use.
