GREAT LITTLE RADIO PROGRAMMED EASY. WORKS GREAT. WILL BUY ANOTHER. LIKE IT REAL WELL. ORDERED ANOTHER ONE LAST NIGHT WILL GET IT ON MONDAY 1/14 AND THIS ONE IS GOING IN THE XYL’S VEHICLE. BETTER THAN THE TYT 7800 MOBILE I HAD BEFORE. GREAT RECEIVE. I LIVE 48 MILES FROM UHF REPEATER AND NO TROUBLE HIT IT WITH THIS UNIT.
This unit is not supportable The unit itself is small and compact with a very easy to read screen. This unit is extremely problematic when it comes to programming it. It is not supported by CHIRP or it’s own software. I tried to work with Retevis but all that took place was a series of useless emails and send me multiple cables that yielded the same result. I had requested that they test the cable before shipping but that could not possibly have happened. I sent multiple screen shots while attempting to use their software…
