Too dim at night to read. Disappointed. Had this compass installed professionally as a Christmas gift for my wife. Impossible to read at night. This was a replacement for a similar compass I had installed 20 years ago which worked beautifully (excellent night visibility) but finally started leaking.(P.S. After contacting Amazon I was told it was refunding my money even though the return period had expired. Wonderful service!)
cannot get it properly calibrated I bought it to mount on ly motorcycle (as I do a lot off off the grid riding) and no matter how carefully I do the rotation, regardless of where I mount it on the front, the compass does not hold its bearings as I rotate the bike, much less if I ride it.1 year later it’s all over the place, useless
B-51 Compass Not a small compass, but it works very well in my Toyota pickup. I attached it to the top of the dash with heavy duty velcro which has worked fine. Well worth the price.
