The SS-1002 is a 3 3/4″ Blue PowerDamp Plus Flat-Card Dial, flush mounting compass. It is a high performance compass designed to be stable at high speeds and any sea conditions. It mounts in a 4″ hole. 12V Green Night Light, compensators built in, 5 yr warranty.

Ritichie Navigator Supersport Compass a great find. This compass was direct replacement for the Danforth compass that was in the boat. So far, it has worked just as expected. Installation was very simple since I did not have to cut any hole for mounting. I just purchased the adapter ring for the compass and that solved all mounting issues. Wiring was straight forward. It works and looks GREAT! I am sure being a Ritchie I replaced a damaged compass in my Gradywhite with this compass and a ritchie adapter plate.It works and looks GREAT! I am sure being a Ritchie, it will last a long time!
Nice upgrade to the helm Great upgrade from my old compass. This compass seems to be more accurate and is certainly easier to read with the nice back-light display. Not much more to say as it is a basic device, but i do like that the product came with all items needed for installation (not always the case with marine products).
