Great value at $40. Almost certain to please. Just minor annoyances. Five stars and better for the dessert forks and knives! At $39.99 they are a real fine value buy. I like them a lot. I’ve had fancier sets in my life, but none which work as well. Most of my other sets were more money and finer finished. Five stars for value. But don’t expect these to compete with finer quality sets made in Europe or the USA. The major problem with this set is in the edge finishing. You can feel sharp edges where they should be smooth. I spent quite a bit of time searching for flatware on Amazon and learned that the 18/10 or 18/8 stainless steel is the better quality, and equals heavier, thicker utensils.
