My other Salomon shoes (X-Wing) were size 12 and fit fine, so the Pathfinder series runs slightly smaller As some others mentioned, shoe is narrower than most. I got the size 12, and should have gotten the 13 for the Salomon Pathfinder CSWP shoes. Little snug in the toes, and slightly narrower than I would prefer. My other Salomon shoes (X-Wing) were size 12 and fit fine, so the Pathfinder series runs slightly smaller.That said, it has stretched a little with wear but still a little to tight. I loved them. Very comfortable and fit perfectly for the … I’ve bought Salomon shoes before for work. I loved them. Very comfortable and fit perfectly for the size I ordered. They are waterproof I use that part often as I do single ply roofing and when a drain is clogged it’s nice to keep the feet dry. Very comfortable don’t have any issues with breaking them in. The grip and soles last longer than the fabric of the shoes. I’ve bought these before and they lasted my 2 years before they no longer were waterproof. Highly recommend them .
Something changed at Salomon shoes are undersized Their sneakers are all undersized – never had this issue with them, but I had to return one pair (partially because it was the wrong model) but primarily it was about 2 sizes to small. I ended up with the Pathfinder and cautiously ordered a half size larger. It just barely fits and I can only hope it loosens up a bit.I should be clear that the construction is superior – best I’ve ever seen.
