Great Shoes These are great shoes. Perfect, comfortable fit. I especially like the laces which are pulled instead of tied. It’s about time laces were re-invented. These shoes are more sturdy than the Salomon running shoes I got last but only weigh slightly more. Years ago I started to hate my Salomon racing ski boots because they were too tight and stiff, however Salomon is my new favorite shoe maker that fits perfectly and performs great.
Outstanding I just finished the 100 mile wilderness in these. I broke them in for a month before, but could have broken them in in a week. I love these and will buy a second pair for work. The Gortex coating is pretty good for light conditions, but the fit and comfort of these is incredible. I have bunions (one good one and a small one on the other foot) and the toe box was generous enough for me. I did put a gel pad on the bad bunion. I only had the faintest of blisters after the 100 miles in 5 days…
Love them I’ve only had them for a week or so but so far so good. I did notice they have become more comfortable after the second or third time that I wore them. Not that they were uncomfortable. Just saying there is a small break-in. I have been in mud and several inches of water for extended periods without getting wet feet also.
