If in between sizes, you may need to size down or wear a heavier sock I am currently debating whether to keep these shoes. They are cute, have good arch support and are generally comfortable. However, with a medium weight sock on my feet, my left heel seems to be slipping a little. I purchased the shoe a half size larger than in the past because my current pair of Salomons were just a little tight. The larger shoe fits better in length, but if it stretches at all, I’m concerned the heel may slip too much. I’m trying to decide between these and a pair of…
Easy to put on and take off with regular shoelaces I love my Salomons and have had several pairs of Speedcross 3 GTX, X-Mission 3, and XR-Mission. The only problem has been their Quicklace system with the Mission style shoes. They don’t allow me to stretch the laces enough to easily slip my feet it even with think socks. Thicker socks are a no-go. The Speedcross models seem to have longer laces even with the Quicklace system and are not a problem.
