LOVE I know it goes against recommended advice, but I took these straight out of the box and wore them on a 20 mile hike up Half Dome and back. AMAZING. Yes, my feet hurt at one point, but I put on a new pair of socks and felt like a million bucks. I did not go up half a size as some recommend. The half size up felt too big and loopy, even with thick socks. Highly recommend.

I’m so impressed by these shoes. I’ve gone through a couple of different types looking for the right shoe. I have a new found love for the outdoors and hitting the trails. I’m also not graceful one bit, overweight and suffer from all the things that come with that. These shoes fit perfect with extra room in the toe. My Salomen’s were delivered to my office today, and I have to admit when I opened the box my first reaction was “Oh my God, I hate them.” I ordered the color Poseiden, They look like a navy blue with lighter trim on my monitor.
