However, I have to made sure that the O ring is in the right place which is near the top, in the correct groove. When I open the metalic bag, the O ring was below the top groove. Be aware of the movable band I originally wrote a poor review of this product because I could not get a tight seal between the filter and my Pur dispenser and water poured out from around the filter instead of through it. Then I decided to open a second filter to see if maybe I had just received a bad filter.
